A happy, supported photographer is a photographer who takes their very best photos! Follow these tips to keep your team energized and focused on capturing those 'golden' shots:

• Fuel Them Up! Feed your photographer and videographer! A hungry creative is not a focused creative. If you absolutely cannot provide a meal, let them know well in advance so they can bring their own.
• Give Them a Break: The wedding breakfast is the perfect time for them to rest and eat. Trust me, very few people want to be photographed with a mouthful of food!
• Communicate the Essentials: Provide your concise shot list (using my free PDF!) and give them background on important people. Are there any sensitive family dynamics? Is anyone particularly camera-shy? This helps them navigate the day smoothly.
• Give your photographer/videographer some background on the important people, i.e. if there are any specific family set-ups they need to be aware of, or if anyone is particularly camera shy.
• Share Your Comfort Level: Be honest about how you feel on camera. Do you dislike kissing photos? Are you shy about PDA? Do you prefer one side over the other? Letting them know ensures they make you feel comfortable.
• Tidy Up for Getting Ready Shots: Help your photographer capture stunning preparation photos by keeping the background clear and tidy. Less clutter means more beautiful photos!
• Consider an Unplugged Ceremony: Mobile phones held high as you walk down the aisle can seriously detract from your professional photos. Kindly ask your guests to leave it to the pros!/li>

   Many venues require this. It also covers you both if something happens to their equipment or on-site.

5. Are you available on my date?
